MY DREAM

Everyone in the world has a dream. Some want to fly fighter jets, some want to play a role in politics and some want to be a sportsman. But my goal is to do something for the welfare of the country and its citizens.

I want to continue with physics and science and graduate in a good college after which I will start my career in I.S.R.O- Indian Space Research Organization.

The first step towards becoming a scientist is education. If I can, I will complete my education from M.I.T- Madras Institute of Technology, and then apply for the job in I.S.R.O, where I will first observe and then start working. My main aims over there will be-

1. To devise the technology for a satellite which will run using solar energy and soft-land on Mars using its lander. It will let go of a rover, which will complete a round of the southern ice cap, which is 375 km in diameter, collecting rocks and storing them in what I call ‘pickup storage system’ where we have a robotic arm coming out of a big area which is like a car boot. The robotic arm will extend and place a closed pipe which is already attached to the storage area in front of the machine which collects the rocks. Once all the rocks are in, the real action takes place. There will be a machine which has an opening. The robotic arm will put 7-8 rocks at a time, and the machine will examine them for DNA. This way, we can know about life on Mars.

 

2.  To create a powerful microscope which can detect the entire crust of the moon and look for signs of water, sodium, copper, lead and other metals. This will run through a radioactive lens on the front and back of the microscope.

 

3. To create a motor which will stop zero gravity pressure inside the spacecraft, helping astronauts eat, drink and walk. This will also prevent the accidental movement of the airlock door, which leads to life forms also floating out of the spacecraft. This will run through a machine made out of a metal that I will test.

 

So this is how I will achieve my dream and try my best for the future of aeronautical engineering and technology.
