CHILDREN

A small, little child, full of joy

Gives a lot of laughter and never makes an evil ploy

He or she might be emotional on the first day

It’s hard to think that they’ll grow into adult one day

Going to school, getting scolded but making new friends

Might be a headache to make amends

One might come back crying after getting bullied

Another might be everyone’s friend in minimal speed

Playing, talking and doing homework

Thinking about the math classwork

Sudden worry after being caught doing something wrong

Breathing a sigh of relief when the bell rings, ding-dong!

They're careless, witty, and mischievous too

Brushing negative thoughts away as they come out of the blue

They're happy, grateful, and clever, in any situation

Kind to everyone, there's no oppression

That’s the life of every child

To every face, they bring a smile

Getting a sudden cold, but fighting it back like it’s very mild

They’re good, kind, funny and agile
