Every child wishes to be free

Glorious ambitions they have, inventiveness they seek

Be it from studies, sports or lack of peace

Of independence and bliss in life, they require a piece

 

They aspire for a delightful, carefree life

They’re content, that’s all they strive

So much hustle-bustle, so much tiredness

Yet they would hate if excitement was any less

 

Constant work exhausts my mind

Peace and calmness I long to find

For receiving these, books I approach

For, in many things they’ve been my extraordinary coach

 

Yet responsibilities are true necessities

Just enjoy them and complete them with ease

Study, work hard and play

Between these, keep a balance you may

 

Freedom is required for a joyous life according to me

We all need it, to be full of glee

Remember, one thing that appeals to anyone is to be free

That’s freedom, liberty, autonomy and sovereignty
